So, it's that time again. time for me to write another journal. I mostly treat these things as a means to express however I'm feeling at the moment into words, rather than to update everyone on my mediocre at best art and prose. Last night I had one of those dreams. The kind that's so wonderful tat even when you think about it the next day, it fills you with a warm feeling, but also a deep sense of longing. It was a dream featuring recurring elements, too. It featured a good friend, who lives far away in a certain place, living in a house my mind has built for them, (the recurring element) and my visiting of that friend. We walked on rain-soaked streets in the dead of night, streetlights casting pale light on the shadowy streets and tall buildings. (Which, of course, exist only in my head.) and the feeling of that place, and that person, filled my heart and soul with a wonderful feeling that one can only feel in the limitless world of dreams. But the best part, I think, is knowing that, some day, that dream might come true. And that fills me with an emotion that is so different from all of the others. Hope.
